I assume that the leaks actually developed before the incident as that is the only explanation I have for loosing water over a period of time, and i have never heard of frost plugs being affected by heat??? Correct me if I am wrong here.
My questions are these:
1) Has Toyspeed ever done the frost plugs on a 20V with the engine still in the vehicle? Any tips or suggestions that would mean I can leave the manifold attached?
2) The frost plugs are brass. I was just going to use a pin punch to rotate the plug in the block then use pliers to remove. Is this the easiest method?
Never done a frost plug before, but can't be that hard.... right????
