Turbosmart boost tee noise

Postby Stott69 » Wed Jan 04, 2012 5:24 pm

I dont seem to be able to get the boost up to above .6 bar at the moment, so have presure tested the intake. With this I have found my BOV is leaking a little (might be adjustable?) and my boost tap make a weird noise.

Should it be doing this?
And has anyone dealt with PROF BOV's before?

The boost tap will leak as thats what it does "bleeds air". The BOV should be fully closed 'under boost' as you will have pressure ontop of the diaphram assisting it to close untill the throttle closes then it will see vacuum. The 50mm one on my car piss's around a bit at idle but fully closed under boost etc..

I take it you have adjusted the tap further? The BOV you have is adjustable also..
