Tom's TEC II ECU

Postby Makaveli » Sun Jul 15, 2012 11:12 am

Hi,

I bought a Tom's ECU for my Aristo. I was wondering does it run in Open Loop Mode or Closed Loop or Both???

The reason why I am asking is that my car idling/surging issues have almost disappeared when cold. So perhaps it relies less on O2 Sensor.

Anyone knows???

Cheers

Cold running is always open loop as i understand it.

Can you take the lid off and post a pic of the circuit boards? Don't $&#$% with anything if you are not tech savvy.

I suspect it is a techtom board but need a pic to confirm.

Possibly your old ECU was playing up?
1988 KE70 Wagon - Slowly rusting
1990 NA6 MX-5 - because reasons
2018 Ranger - Because workcar
1997 FD3S RX-7 Type R - all brap, all the time
OMG so shiny!
