No it does not.
Sergi is incorrect,
the Fuel Inj fuse is the ignition switched feed.
You actually need to pull the brake light fuse to do it as that is where Toyota ECU's battery supply comes from.
The ECU stores the code(s) until it is cleared by removing EFI fuse with ignition switch OFF
