AE92 highpressure PS line: new or make one?

My AE92 GTZ is running a 4age PS pump on a custom made bracket, it was years ago that I fitted it. I've just taken the engine out and noticed that the high pressure line is starting to perish and crack.

It was so long ago that my memory is a bit vague, but I'm pretty sure I had to use a high pressure line from a 4age 16v to match the PS pump. Its not a prefect fit because the solid parts of the line don't quite fit (extra bends on the steering rack end).

Just putting it out there, would I be better off getting ENZED to make up something (are the threads unique?) or just try get a matching TGP new one? The reason I ask is because the only thing I've had made by ENZED was a turbo oil feed line and that was pretty pricey so I'm unsure if it would be economical vs's getting a new TGP (if they are available).

Would push lock fitting work?

...I'm not a cheap arse, I just have many many expensive things coming up or on the go! e.g. an engine rebuild (unexpected), my wedding, major house renovations, trailer build, a bit of panel beating etc etc.

I made up a PS pipe with Air con fittings and our hydraulic crimper we use for crimping the ends on, worked fine,

but I dont know if pushlock would hold the pressure on full lock?

Pushloc NO.

You need to Aeroquip screw together fittings designed for super high pressure. I got it on my car.
Its not the braided lines or fittings, these are different again.

There is a high pressure line which is not hose clamped, uses special screw on fittings.
The feed line to the pump and return from the rack are hose clamped lines. But from pump to rack is the HP one.

Cheapest, easiest and safest option would be hydraulics place. Shop around if enzed were too much.
Prob be 100ish. Depends if they have fittings that suit or have to weld the originals to the crimps

They are a screw together fitting.
So it squahses the hose onto the fitting as you screw it together.
The fittings are quite long so the hose has to be pushed over a long snout on the fitting first before the other part comes and screws over it.
