AE86 radiator into AA60?

Postby Hachiroku » Thu Jan 31, 2013 11:57 am

Looking at a new radiator for an AA60 but not much available aftermarket in NZ. The AE86 ones look to be a pretty similar design - any idea if they are compatible? Would be a cheaper and easier option than trying to make something else fit or sourcing a Carina one.

From distant memory....
Isn't there a plastic plate blanking off part of the hole where the radiator fits in the AA60?
Pretty sure it uses a radiator similar in size to the AE86 for the A series engines
I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!

Yeah there is. Just wasn't sure about the spacing of the top mounts or bottom lugs. Would make life nice and easy if its a straight bolt in.

I've got an ae85 radiator which prob isn't really suitable but if it's a cheaper option for you it's here. Will need to be recored as it's a bit worse for wear
