1999 ford festiva relays

i cannot find a thing online and i do not have a service manual.

now how do i find the relay for the indicators? do the L and R indicators both use the same relay or is there a seperate one for each side because my L indicator stays on and doesnt click sometimes and after googling it sounds like the relay is my problem.

Now I have no idea where the relay is, i cannot find it in the drivers or passanger sides footwell, or in the engine bay etc.

Do i follow the clicking the indicator makes when it is working? is the clicking the relay or is that something else?

i found a little box where the clicking is coming from. theres a plug into it with 4 wires, im guessing a + and - for each indicator or something. would this be the relay?

i hope not as its going to be a nightmare to get to, its blocked off by what a bunch of wires and what looks like the ECU, or maybe some other control unit, in the drivers footwell on the RH side.

i mean would the relay be plugged into the box, not is this the actual relay, i cant quite see it and its going to be a nightmare to pull out. i guess ill have a go at pulling it out while i wait to see if anyone has any helpful answers

nevermind, i got the relay out, now hopefully i can find a replacement. i tried sanding down the contact points but now its even worse, hopefully repco stock them lol
