1998 GT-T power steering shudder

Hey all

I'm wanting to sell the Caldina in the coming weeks as we've bought a Falcon (yeah yeah go ahead with ya bogan jokes haha) as I wanted a tow car for the supra.

Before I list the Caldina I want to make sure it's in tip top shape for the new owner. Luckily the car's pretty mint mechanically except for one issue that I forgot about - because it's intermittent. There's a low speed (when parking or pulling into a drive etc) shudder through the steering wheel. I haven't change the power steering fluid for about 20,000km's - so this could be a reason. Although I'm overly anal with fluids and like to keep them pretty fresh - I'm guessing the Falcons P/S fluid has never been changed haha.

Anyway - the Falcon has the same shudder problem - and here's some instructions on how to fix it:

I don't think this would apply to the Caldina though, as the Caldina doesn't run a closed system like this article talks about?

Does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing the Caldina's P/S shudder?
