easiest way to get more flow, if using triple pass or the likes. step it up a size or 2. i'd use at least a 2 1/2 inch muffler on 2 1/4 pipe

AdrenalinR in Hastings, ive dealt with them on 2 projects so far

my MR2 GT, 3" from turbo to dual 3" mufflers, near stock sound.

my 04 Legacy GT-B with Subtech pipe and decat, 300mm resonator to fix the raspy noise and make it near factory quiet again.

Their mufflers simply work due to their unique design (3 layer packing, thick stainless steel, louvred tubing).

Pricing is good and they will build it to any measurement.

Finish on them are the best ive seen on any muffler even high end stuff like Fujitsubo and Blitz Nurspec.

How about some hard numbers?

Image

2 x Adrenaline R's, 3" pipe, reversed louvre, 350mm and 400mm If I remember correctly

96.4dB with a rattle, can get it down to sub 95dB if I sort out the rattle according to certifier.

GT28RS, internally gated.

Chur.

Thats pretty awesome setup, I got too focused on the V setup in my MR2, ended up costing like $1300 to build exhaust from 2 large Adrenalin cannons but ended up closer to a Legalis R decibel rating (85db).

forgive me if im wrong but 96.4db and a rattle seems like a lot of noise for a turbo car with two mufflers?

those look like adrenalinR resonators, not much packing \ baffle material in them, my MR2 took 2 300mmx380mm cannons to make it quiet.

Thanks mate, I never liked the V setup that's why I went with this way instead.

More like 95dB if I can sort out the rattle, that's not too loud considering they're just resonators that are straight through with no offset. Not much room in the back of the MR2, if you had a FR car there will be plenty of room for a 2 x 450mm and a end big bore, which should bring it down to a very nice "I'm a grown up now" tone that won't attract the boys in blue.

This is a tried and true certified setup, so if you're looking for legal sub 95dB setup, this will definitely work.
