Postby mega4a » Wed Oct 29, 2014 5:52 pm

hi toyspeeders just a quick question took my car away for the weekend and when cornering hard the sway bar seem to be making a lot of noise was just wondering since my car is pretty low would I need to get my sway bar adjusted or shorten has anyone else had this issue? any ideas or any info is helpful.

May need shorter links to correct the angle....what sort of noise does it make?

If it's anything like the ae92's then I would be looking at wear and tear on the sway arm links or bushes.

yeah I was thinking that too but where would you get shorter links. and like a clunking noise when you go fast and corner
or hard.

Does the clunk happen at low speed over bumps?

Classic cause for suspension noises is worn swaybar links
The ball joints wear out and even a small amount of play can make an annoying clunk
I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!
