Driveshaft loop position

Good morning all,

Looking for a little guidance :)

Blue lines indicate position relative to the centre of the joint.

Is the loop acceptable in this position as the flat bar and reinforcement plate would be against flat metal vs contoured (can't distinguish from pic sorry) and we have to avoid interference with the handbrake cable. Just want to ensure that the position is correct to ensure that in the event of a failure, that the loop would function as required.

it has to be within 150mm of the red line, so your image looks fine, at least from what i can see from the photo.

I thought it would be fine, but wasn't sure if the loop had to be behind the shaft to union weld joint or not. Cheers
