running ritcher?

Postby TRD_ZERO » Tue Apr 21, 2015 4:28 pm

It's been awhile since I've been on here do to lack of issues with my car. After driving it the other day I noticed a fuel smell inside the cabin which haven't been there. Found the fuel reg to be leaking out of the return fitting. So I cleaned it it up and sealed it up again. It doesn't leak now but I'm still getting a fuel smell in the cabin sometimes at idle. I've also noticed the exhaust fumes smell rich And its popping abit more than usual. It's a ae111 blacktop turbo running a g4 with 550 injectors. What should the reg be set up to? When I prime the pump it goes to 3 bar on idle it sits at 2.5 bar. what should I check next? Thanks

The only way to do this properly is get a wideband and check your idle's O2.
You can always try trimming fuel at idle. FWIW the usual pressure is 38-42ish PSI for idle pressure, when you prime the FPR will probably bump the pressure since it's seeing atmosphere pressure instead of idling's vacuum pressure.
No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.
