I'm looking at doing something similar.
Putting a banjo fitting in the water drain plug for the feed (guess I'll have to re-tap the thread here). Then direct the hot side to join up with the water coming from the back of the head (mines rwd and I wont be running a heater)
Rather than just taping a Tee into the rear, I'm planning on running the head line and turbo line to their own little swirl pot, then have that feed back to the thermostat housing/water pump. that way air bubbles have a chance to bleed out before going back thru the engine. Probably overkill but meh.
Not sure if I need to restrict flow thru the turbo to prevent too much coolant bypassing the head, guess I'll find out.

I envy those with little interest in cars, for they have money and spare time.
