just a question bout da turbo DX in the performance car mag

ok he had 17 inch mags with 215/40s on wat looked like standard gaurds. i wanna put 17 inch mags on my DX :D (wen i get the money of course)

so are the gaurds on that turbo dx standard? cuz if they are it looks like 17s will go straight on, but there will be a problem with turning especially wen ya lower ur car, so wats the best thing to do if ya wanna put 17s on a dx? roll the gaurds? keep them standard?

even with my 14inch supalites with 195/60s u still get scapeage wen cornering so are 17s possible?

Rays car has been in the shop 3 years dude.... he's got adjustable platforms, he hasn't just put lowering blocks in it and sent it out... He's got Tarmac Evo's on there which aren't cheap - it's a wicked car tho and man it sounds nice...

you will find that your dx will not only handle like shit with 17's on it, you will find it very hard to stop, you will also find it very hard to accelerate because your average 17" wheel with tyre weighs roughly 20 Kg's - times 4 is an extra 80 kg's at the wheels which is where you really don't want it..
4k's put out 55Kw if that..

If I were you, I'd flag the 17's and spend the money on some decent 15's... if you want to lower it, you may need the guards rolled but thats about all, don't lower it so much it's impossible to drive, just enough so it doesn't look standard...
