emergency question for wiring head deck

if you are reading this in like the next 2 mins please advise.....

i am wiring a headunit into the factory toyota radio loom of an 1981 toyota soarer....

I have found this http://www.installdoctor.com/Harnesses/ ... Wiring.pdf file to be the most accurate i can find but the colouring of the wires is different...


question... should i continue with the wireing ignoring the colour specs on this pdf???

got a multimeter? or try a 12v bulb between what it says as ground and battery..if its not what it says should blow a fuse...but could be dangerous

ok so what i found out was that the rear speakers were as indicated on the smaller connection into the factory head-unit but the larger block i beleive to be reversed.. as the 12 main in the smaller block was indeed a 12 v main but the 12v ign wasnt......

if ive given the head unit constant power do i have to install i switch inline on the amp rem??
