WTD; Original Toyota Double-DIN head unit

Postby quattrocchi » Fri Jul 07, 2006 8:30 pm

We have a 97 Spacio and the CD player is intermitently refusing to play (ejects CDs). Has anyone here upgraded their head unit from a similar double-DIN working unit and has one lying around? It's bound to be better than this one. Thanks
This is an example sig. You should replace this with a
suitably-formatted one of your own.

You could also try a single DIN unit and get one of the spacer pockets to go underneath it, should be easily obtainable from a wrecker. However I havn't had experience with double DIN factory units so I don't know if the loom would match. I'm pretty sure I have two single DIN 1996 Vintage factory units lying around somewhere.

*edit* sorry just realised they only play cds via a changer, so probably more hassle than you'd be after.

Thanks. I'll try the wreckers. Should be one here in Westie Auckland.
