I wouldnt buy them if they were 50 bucks. Opinion though, anything will sound ok. Depends what your after? Heavy bass? Quality, reliability... etc

Personally i was NEVER happy with my fusion subs. If i was to buy anything from PI, it wouldnt probably be kicker. Although theyre much like lanzar, cheap is nasty, expensive is nice. Just go into the store and use the demo ones and decide what you like the most :) Its hard to tell if you dont have something specific you want

Had a lanzer in my kar and it blew up causing three of my amp circuits to burn out.

In my opinion if you want a mean az sub, go for a soundstream sub. They are the best in the business. They cost more but they sound mean.

As far as I can tell from owning one, my mate used to own another one, and recently pulling apart one due to fried MOSFETs and MOSFET driver IC (catastrophical faulre, you know electronics operate on smoke, and when smoke gets out it stops working, well there were a lot of smoke getting out that one ;) ), I've noticed the transistor they used for output channel, the wiriting on the amp claimed 1600WRMS, the power rating on transistor made each channel about 50WRMS, it has 4 channels thus making 200WRMS amp.
I aslo had similar catastrophical failure of my own one (which is a lot smaller model), than I had dry soldering in one channel (possibly reason of the first fauilure).
The SNR is not very good, the ground loops are very annoying... The control knobs are crap.
I would rather spend twice as much but get better product.
