Anyone know how to take a standard CD Player out of a tez?

Postby BonZ » Tue Nov 14, 2006 8:11 pm

Hey guys,
My standard CD/Tape/Radio Player in My altezza has "stopped working" well in saying that, it's stuck on 88.6 and non of the buttons work except for the volume... so i cant change it to CD which kinda sucks !!

Im thinking that the connections lose somewhere because the screen is kinda flashy and dosnt read proply..

Does anyone know what would be wrong, or how to get the actual player out to check the connections?

Cheers

Take top part out (Vents/dash tray area), it justs unclips with some force, to get access to top 2 bolts, then where the seat warmers/trac/snow buttons are, push up, and slide that out, the other 2 bolts are there

its pretty straight forward man. If you can use a screwdriver and a 10 size socket you can do it

it takes about 5 mins all up and its reasonably hard to break anything. I was just up in aucks and would have done it for nothing. Maybe have a browse on the altezzaclub forums. They are probably likely to have a tutorial on how to do it or someone from up your ways off the forum will do it for you no doubt
