8O

Unless you've got everything else already, there's not much point in a cap... Better off upgrading your speakers or amp? :)

Judging by Emz's previous posts, I'm guessing she's heading towards something Autosalon worthy, so it could be purely for the bling factor or to balance out an install.

i ran a 1000cca drycell in my MA61 and still have dimming lights.
Got capacitor and fixed it up alot. still noticable at idle, but yeah much better.

i do suspect that going through the earths wouldve made a big improvement as well.

But when you are drawing close to 50amps for your stereo, i guess you are always going to have problems

maybe the 150amp max is like an amps 'max' rating?

well if the alternator is only 60 amp rating, and im spiking at 50 amp, im not surprised at all that the lights dim.

Got a 100amp alternator to put in the supra, will see if that makes much difference.

I had to put a Mitzi 115amp altternator in my van just to keep it going,
but talk to a Toyota wrecker there most probably be a HD alternator in a Van/Truck/Car thats not readilt known.
My system at peak can pull 240 amps so a battery option is worth lookin at.
