mounting cd stacker

Postby deaf_rattle » Thu May 03, 2007 12:18 pm

I am looking at mounting my 10 disc stacker under the passenger seat in my supra, what is the best way to mount it like this?

I really dont want to mount it like the rpevious owner of my fxgt who just screwed something to the floor with the ends of the screws visable from undeneath the car

any suggestions would be great

cheers

i would recmond it on the other side so people dont step on it but as faf as mounting goes get a flat metal bar ben it like a U shape & rin it from your seat belt mounts under the carpet on each side the if you need a stablizer bar were the carpet splits just infront of that there is a big crossmember type of structal brace with about 4 10mm holes in it you can use them that way you drill no holes :)

or do what im doing & put it in the back drivers side behind that side pod
The faster you go the quicker you get there

I made a flat sheet of alloy - I drilled 4 holes in it a bolted 4 bolts and nuts through the holes, I then glued the sheet to the floor under the carpet with the bolt thread sticking up through the carpet.
Then bolted the stacker in.

I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!
