i just got some Alpine SPR-17S Type-R 6-1/2" Components
anyone know if theyre any good?
i plan to run them through an amp...havnt bought that yet...
are they good?

just bought myself a head deck, now as i dont have an amp yet, will my speakers
run off the head unit ok?Alpine SPR-17S Type-R 6-1/2" Components
my plan is to use these in the front, and relocate the now front (stock) speakers in the back for now.
also the im planning on an alpine type r 10" sub
what amp('s) would you recommend?
id like to keep it all alpine just so its one happy family
all ideas welcome as im new to the car audio scene

Yes, they will run off the headunit fine, but will sound 100x better if you run them from an amp.
As for a sub amp, that all depends on wether the sub is dual 4 or dual 2 ohm
