Postby GTCRSHR » Tue Oct 20, 2009 2:01 pm

Possibly, they did have a problem with the grease hardening and breaking motor shafts as well, but I think that was after the 9450 and then it usually doesn't move at all.

Does the face blank when it stops?? (Can't even remember if it stays on while ejecting) and does it just stop there?? or does it time out then go back?? Can you hear the motor trying to do anything??

Either way if you're pulling apart the unit, I'd replace the flexible pcb as it'll be a good place to start, and relatively cheap

who sells them ? i have tried wavetech they have them but not in stock,

it doesnt display anything when the screen flips down, and if it get stuck it needs a power down before it will come back on ,

but if i press the power button repetitivley when its going down it will flip all the way down, so the motor and gears are all good,

i am imagining it to be the cable ....

Sounds like it, probably easiest to get it directly from Monaco, they have it listed as being in stock

check you havent used screws too long in the sides of the headunit when bolting them in. this is a VERY common mistake made by people who dont read the instructions ;) they get in the mechanism's way
