Anyone have a sony BT stereo running Android?

Im looking at

but would like some opinions please.

Im not interested in any other brand unless its is exceptional as I already have sony wiring etc in my vehicle and am an avid Sony car audio supporter.

Does the BT audio work well? Do you find it ever needs to 'catch up' on the transmission from phone? (Ive had this in a hyundai van where the music keeps stalling)

Whats the app remote like? Does this work? Is it worth while?

How about the hands free phone side of things?

End of day, does it do what it says it will? and how well does it do it? Is it worth it?

As I said, Im lookig at a new stereo that will play music and do phone hands free via bluetooth

I had the previous version and loved it. That said it depends on the Android phone - for some reason folder up / down worked with my SG3, but not with my Desire (you can force the next album by enabling double click of skip song to go to the next album). Same with search - worked with the SG3 but not the desire.

You can set your phone to play automatically upon connect - so never take it out your pocket (awesome!).

In the end though I got a micro USB drive, loaded all my music onto that and used it instead of the phone (I was always turning bluetooth on and off to save the battery and sick of having to plug my phone into the car charger or change the equaliser on the handset after using headphones).

It also resumes from where you were last playing on the USB (like BT I guess), and it was quicker to search songs / albums etc. Think of it like a giant instantanious cd player.

This is what I use every time. The only downside of this is that you may not always have every song that you have on your phone, on your USB drive.

Apart from that, USB is better in every way - better compatibility, faster, drains less phone battery, easier to set up...
