6x9's Rockford, Polk, Inifity?

Postby solitaire » Mon May 23, 2016 9:03 am

Hi There,

Looking at getting some 6x9's to replace the factory units in the doors.

Rockford, Polk & Infinity all seem to be the same $275ish price point on the drivingsound website. Any advice on which to pick up?

The infinity's are edging into the lead only because they are 2 ohm. But i hear good things about polk.

I realize this is a fairly vague/subjective question, hoping someone may have an opinion based on their experience.

Will be driven by an amp. Hifonics 6406 if it makes any difference.

cheers

Had Infinity 6x9's in the Levin, they sounded pretty decent with good bass response. But yes, highly subjective!

1990 NA6 MX-5 - because reasons
2018 Ranger - Because workcar
1997 FD3S RX-7 Type R - all brap, all the time
OMG so shiny!
