Factory Speaker Size SW20

Postby skynets » Sat Jun 04, 2005 12:29 am

I am planning to upgrade my factory speakers (Front + Rear). I would like to stay at the same size.

Anyone can give me the size of factory speakers (Front + Rear) for 1992 MR2 SW20?

Thanks!

Dont bother about replacing rears, just disconnect them. Trust me

the back speakers are the BITCH to get out :x :x and replacing them with 4 ones wont work because they have to be narrow to fit in the factory shroud.

I've done the same, they really give a good sound stage, and wern't difficult at all to replace, just removed a few panels and used the t-top securing strap behind the seat to pin back the carpet/dampening so it wasn't in the way.

I was going to take out the factory amp, but it looked pretty jammed in there.
