installing an alarm in my fx,but how do i conect the wires to the fuse box for lights? :?

a mate of mine has acess to the mongoose manuals, they recommend using the indicators and not the lights, im unsure why.
but for the indicators you can try this.

the colours are
green/blue, green/yellow

join into the wires at back of the relay,
the relays should be next to the fuse box, you can find the relay by turning the indicators off and on listen and feel for the clicking

wtf!!!!!!!!! green/blue and green/yellow are honda style colours......

go to the drivers door sill loom (take off the sill plate lift the carpet and cut the tape off the loom)

the 2 wires are green/black (with either 1 or 2 dots)
and green/yellow (with same number of dots)

they will pulse 12 volts positive with the indicators on (left for one right for the other)

if the alarm you are connecting has 2 wires for light flash output connect one too each. if it has one output, diode split then run to each of them
if you dont know what a diode is then connect it to the park light circuit (toyota i think is green/red, dont quote me but test anyway, should show 12 volts when the park lights are on)

if you go for the flasher unit (the one that clicks) you will most likely end up just confusing yourself as that doesnt have the output wires you need but rather is on the wrong side of the indicator stalk/ hazard switch

didnt mongoose have the problem of wen u smashed the indicators and shorted the indicators then it wood short the alarm system :?
Have they rectified this yet ?

I usually do it the lazy way, feed the wire into your dashlights then will feed the whole park light circuit. Handy if you alarm only has one output, my new one has two so will go with the indicators this time.
