Questions about mr2 audio

Postby jerm » Mon Aug 08, 2005 5:11 pm

Hey I'm looking into getting an mr2 (new shape) but I'm someone who's into their car audio, mainly sound quality. Just wanting to know from people with mr2s how much room there is inside the car, and what setups people normally have for their ice

hey. there is definetly enough room to work it out if you have the time or money to organise it. i have 2X12 subs, one behind each seat with the amp under the seat as well as 2X 6X9's above that coming from another, smaller amp hidden away as well with some 6inch coaxial speakers replacing the stock fron t speakers and it sounds allright, its all pretty cheap stuff. took a while to build the custom boxes to fit behind the seat but it definetly works. im in the process of upgrading all my equiptment to get better sound quality out of it all

I have recently built a 12 inch sub enclosure to fit on the pastle tray behind the passengers seat it fits in really nicely and my 6 by 9 boxes fit on top of it perfectly. Also got pioneer yellow cone components in tha door. Excellent setup and very good sound quality
