is it possible for a sub/amp to just $&#$% out after its just been sitting in the boot doing nothing 4 like 2 weeks? coz after i decided to put my sub/amp in2 my m8s car coz mines been off the road 4 2 weeks it just crackled and wudnt go it pissed me off!

you sure everything was connected correctly?

how old is the sub and what brand is it?

yea everything was connected properly, but it was after i $&#$% a part of my loom when the sub was in my car so mayb tht cud of caused it.

its a boschmann 600W amp powering a 300W xe sub
