carro blown?

not knowing too much about the electrics of this shit, a mate tried to hook up a spare carrozzeria fh-p606 (double decker) head-deck, there was no fuse on the power wire and he must have blown something, i can hook up the yellow to the mains and red (acc) & orange (lights) to the acc wire and the lights come on with the key but no-body is home, the thing doesn't turn on anymore.

anyone know if this is an easy fix or should I throw it away?

did you hook up an earth? you shouldnt need to hook up a 'lights' wire i think thats just for when you turn the headlights on it dims the stereo

yeah hooked up the earth. tried it in the van with the acc capabilities and just straight hooking it up to a battery. same thing happens, just the lights but no power.
