Altezza Gita Alarm

Postby true?no » Mon Aug 15, 2011 6:20 pm

Looking for someone in CHCH to do a wee cashie, just got a 2001 Altezza Gita and got a Mongoose M60G alarm that i pulled out of my old Levin i would mind throwing in to it. I know the bonnet switch was broken in the crash but 90% sure everything else is there, bought a new loom for it and what not just need someone with the know how to put it in. Would mind it having Remote start but that sort of thing might be tricky??

If any one is keen let me know, im picking the car up mid next week so anytime after that suits me!

Cheers guys/gals!

lol,

Good luck and if you want central locking to work the boot,
make sure you get someone who knows what they are doing,
and has a tiny tip on there soldering iron.

My partner had an alarm installed on her Gita and that was a mission to get to work with the central locking on the boot. Was sorted in the end with relays or something like that :o

Even most alarm installers wont believe how much of a mission it is unless they have done one.

May just pay to may sure it does work when you do get it done.

the newest shape caldina also uses the same setup . wat a pain in the ass . your alarm needs a "neg when armed wire" to be able to work with it
