total alarm noob and where to go in auckland

Postby andrewgreen1000 » Thu Jun 11, 2015 12:31 am

So to put it bluntly I have no idea about alarms. I'm picking up the new car this weekend and it doesn't have anything in it, and if like to get something for it to make me feel a little better, and for the ease of remote central locking. Its a 99 corolla GT if that makes a difference as to what to get.

I'm new to Auckland as well so have no idea where to go for said alarm, and a current list of good installers isn't a bad idea. I don't mind traveling to get a good install at a good price too. I feel like I read that someone here works for/has alarm connections? Any pointers as to what to stay away from/to get I'm all ears. Not wanting to spend too much as I'm not going to be driving it to/from work so will be behind locked gates at my apartment most of the time anyway.

Cheers

Check with XS1V on here if he's still in the business.

He supplied and installed my alarm for me a few years ago - hands down the best alarm install I've ever had and zero problems with it.

Thanks for the name drop :)

Yup still keen to help fellow Toyspeeder's in this area. PM me and we can get in contact to go over options and pricing. I will only use good product, so don't have any "grabone" pricing you may have seen in mind but will do a good deal on the protection level you want and the best job possible for your car.
