Citrix is the thin client system :P

yes Citrix is still quite widely used - but it is not a processor.
and those old cyrix processers were dogs - had one once and it was the most unstable bastard ever.

and for all those who are hating HP - believe me you do not hate them as much as me as i sit here at my desk working for them

And i would never buy one of their pc's for myself - even at staff prices the performance does not justify the price.

personally I always buy AMD and build my own. Presently I have an athlon xp 2500+ overclocked to 2288mhz with watercooling.

If you have lots of money and want the best performance around then p4's are the way to go at the moment, but for a lot less cash you can get pretty close with an amd.

I won my computer from THE ROCK radio station and it has a AMD Athlon XP 2200+ and had no problems with it, the only thing I had to get was Winodows software cuz they didn't give me it as part of the prize

I've certainly had far fewer problems with the Duron I'm runnin now than the Celeron I used to have....
Anyone collect old PC parts? I've got a tray of P90 cpu's, couple of hard drives, couple of modems, and various other bits n pieces to give away....

hated the reliability of my old AMD Athlon Thunderbird 1400, overheated sooo much!

Yeah those old thunderbirds do produce alot of heat. Even more than the much faster clocked CPU's today.

I prefer AMD for the simple price vs. performance equation

Ive got a XP2100+ @ 2.3Ghz and a XP2500+ @ stock
