id have to agree there, ive had a turbo'd nissan fairlady V6 and now own a SC MR2 and the SC seem to pull alot harder on the hills, can do either side of the Kaimais in 5th gear under 2500rpm no sweat and still pull if you put your foot down. most turbos would die at the thought of that. i think SCs have better reliablitiy also (but thats just my opinion) but i have to admit if your going for max power, then a turbo will kill all hands down. lag can be fun! my nissan used to wheelspin when the boost hit! :)

mmm turbo or supercharger...
well as everyone is saying, and this is a bit repetitive...but...it all depends on wat u need it for. Personally id go for the Turbo as they r more flexible...is that the word?? hmm..wat i mean is u can do more with a turbo than u can with a supercharger...even though turbochargers are harsher on the engine's internals than a supercharger.
Id say general dragging at the lights...or for more torque...i.e towing etc...a supercharger would be prefered as u have instantanious power, but for real dragging to racing, u cannot go past a turbo charger, and thers nothing like a lil turbo lag then to get pushed into the back of the seat..ahhh...love the feeling of boosting...rather orgasmic :D
