console - (place where the radio and a/c stuff is...)

Do you like a straight up and down cconsole? (like the levin)

Do you like a slightly sloped console? (like the mr2)

or do you like a really sloped console? (like in the 300Z)

You have WAY too much time on your hands to be thinking about these sorts of things.

I quite like the sloped ones. Things like MR2's make you feel kinda cosey and in a cockpit. The MkIV Supra is especially like that.
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

Doesn't matter to me, as long as the radio and heater controls are easy to reach. ie: Functionality over fashion.
We know that four-wheel drive doesn't work in a racing car, and I proved to myself that it doesn't work very well for rallycross. I'm absolutely convinced that it has no future in rallying, either, even if the regulations allowed it. - Roger Clark (rallying legend), circa 1976

Slightly angled like my car, i find it really sh*t when i drive a car with striaight up and down, i cant reach anything while having my arm resting on the centre console and the gear knob!
If you say please, im on my knees

The angles usually reflect the drivers expected position when driving.
A slopey dash is going to suck if you wind up cramped by it. A straight up and down one is gonna suck if you have to sit forward to reach stuff.

Kinda a weird question to ask when the angles are usually designed to compliment the way the rest of the cockpit is configured.

I would love a really sloping one (the 300ZX one) but would like it slightly angled towards the driver like some euros are :D Good looking, but also practical.

I like the 'really sloped' interior.... hence looking into buy a big, fat, whale, a 300z.

Got to go with the slightly sloped like in my car.
It's comfy, you don't have to reach for things etc.
