I'm motorsport 24 / 7 / 365. But most of you knew that anyway ;) Hobby, job, obsession, religion.

Would like to do more rallying. I've navigated twice, once the car blew the clutch to bits touring to the first stage, and once in the Taupo classic. Serious unbelievable fun. Want to navigate lots more, but can't afford to navigate, along with competing in every clubsport event I can get to.

Went to a Pukekohe test day last week and was bitten. As soon as you start timing yourself - I was quite pleased with improving 8 seconds over the course of the day. Also, anyone with standard-ish suspension like me - you think you have a good-handling car, then you go on a track and realise its a bus...

Incredibly good fun though, intend to repeat as often as possible (costs about $150 a time)

Went to the races at Manfield (or was it Levin) in 1974. Was bored sh*tless. Entered gravel hillclimbs and autocrosses almost straight afterwards.
Entered 1st rally in 1976 and have been involved ever since in various capacities, nowadays more administration than competing. Hopefully that'll change soon.
If you're not careful it can take over your life. Have you got a category for that?

yip. especially when trying to combine competing with the administration side of the sport.
I've been a bad bad boy. I should read the rules and behave before I get spanked by an admin
