New Korn Or Old School Korn?

Postby Shady_Dan » Wed Feb 18, 2004 7:39 pm

What do u reckon is better? The Korn we know now from Issues to The current album take a look in the mirror? Or the old school Korn from the self titled to Follow the leader?

Old school. I used to thrash blind on my guitar. Had that puppy tuned so low the strings were more loose than a K-Rd hooker.

Go the old school Korn, the later stuff seems alot more mellower. Maybe Jon actually got some counselling

I got the whole album before it even came out here (oh the joys of the net, but dont tell anyone, i dont want KoRn raping my arse for piracy).

If you wanna send me a blank cd i can give u the whole album for the high price of $0.

Or are you one of these people that don't download music cuz its either wrong (its never wrong unless You get caught, rule applies to most things in life that are illegal) or u like to collect the original cds for the cover art etc etc?

Would you belive before they made Untouchables he went into voice coaching for a year! hah! for someone that has sold millions of albums with a unmistakable voice such as his, he wouldnt need coaching, but i guess everyone needs help at some stage (some more than most).

Untouchables proved to me that KoЯn reached their peak with follow the leader, and by the 7 stringers, good music shall never be writen again.

Nah i've been on "loaned' PC's for a while. The first had a CD burner(good old Napster/Audiogalaxy days)which was used heaps. The second didn't plus it was so slow it couldn't play music and surf at the same time without falling over...and I'm now on the third PC which has all the goodies but I haven't had a chance to figure everything installed in it out yet.

Appreciate the offer but I'll be alright. ;)

May I remind you that some songs from the latest album were recorded when they were makin their first album.

Mmm, Boost wrote:Go the old school Korn, the later stuff seems alot more mellower.
Go and listen to "Break some off" (in particular the verse that where Jon yells $&#$% about 10 times in a row) and "Y'all want a single" from the latest album.
"yall wanna single say $&#$% that , $&#$% that SHIT....FFFFFUUUUCCCCKK.."
Old skool Korn is damn bloody good, but I jst wanted to point out some of the 'new skool' stuff aint bad either (if you listen to it properly and give it half a chance before dissing it)...its Korn for god sakes, quit your bitchin.

Yeah , metal and hard rock should make a come back, starting to get sick of all this teeny bopping/hip hopping stuff real quick, esp in clubs/bars, hmm so its ok for Waterfront clubs to play old crapy music that over 50s listen to but not Korn.

New age metal is f***ing horrible. I have never been a big fan of korn. Always weirdos with long black hair that like it.

I think the first two albums where the best. Then Follow the Leader got more hip-hoppy now the new stuff which i think is also awesome just not as good as the older stuff. I've bought all thier albums because they are my favorite band and I think they deserve the money! And I'm not a long black haired bogan either. I just can't deny the awesomeness of Korn!!
