I think the two should merge and become... ‘‘FOLDEN’’ :) and the new model could be ‘‘Comocon’’ (Comodore/Falcon) or ‘‘Falcodore’’

I saw the all new XR6 in the O today and it's a very sexy looking car, and because the new Falcons have gone TwinCam and turbo they get my vote, Holden is still stuck in the stone age. The Falcon turbo will be a revelation for years to come in Aussie I reckon, I mean on the stock turbo running 1Bar they got 300KW out of it, and that's just the start of things to come.

I've always grown up in a family that goes for Ford.

But my dad transports the new fords and he said that the quality of ford has gone down and he now would rather have a Holden

when i first saw the new ford at a glance i thought it was a mitzi diamante!
now i think it looks like a cross between the new holden, dimante and old ford(got the same roof/rear pillar shape)

I would take a different approach, i'm a die-hard holden b*tch :D but i don't think the quality is as good as everyone thinx. When they started to get popular and go off overseas the workmanship wasn't as good. My dads 2002 ss ute is burning oil after only a couple of months, yet my mums 2001 ford is still going strong, i do think the new fords are nicer than the new holdens though. Just a opinion.

Yeah, but i'm talking recent fords in NZ, not sexy mustangs. Mustangs are too good for ford.

Lets just say I love them all.

'tis all a crock of shit... what's the difference at the end of the day????
Holden release a "new model" every year, no?? vx, monaro, vy or whateva the new one i called, all in the space of three years..
I reckon FORD would have my vite at the end of the day, even though i despise both, what technology do they use really??? wow wee EFI, wow wee, bolt a new DOHC head and a hairdryer on an engine thats been around for 30 odd years......
and holden -> anybody hear bout the problems some of the 5.7s sometimes have??? like 10'000km old and goin in for a rebuild???? and people say jappas are mass produced shit!!!

Being a rotary "enthusiast" i would never buy a v8, not just because it's v8, coz i have driven a few 8s and heaps o rotas and other small displacement pistons (jap) and in my opinion there is no question..... Japanese engines are second to none...

oh yeah, and you who gonna say "yeah but rotas are so unreliable, blah blaH BLAH" do you blame them for blowing up, making the power that they do out of such a physically small engine?? dude, a 13b is lighter and smaller dimensions than a toyota 3k!

Gotta love the old skool Mk1 escorts!!!! I knew a guy with one that had a 4age, roll cage, 5 link rear end, LSD.

I so wanted it!!!! but some f*ck who probably takes it up the ass stole it and it never surfaced, what a waste!!!!!!!

So yeah i guess thats a FORD vote.
