Basically I'm asking

Street fighter - Chun Li

King of Fighters - Mai

Dead or Alive - Lei Fang

Tekken - Xiao Yu

Mortal Kombat - Sonya blade

I should have just made another hentai thread now that I think about it

Ok, from a fighting game point of view, Street Fighter, bar none. None of this EX crap either.

2D fighters is where its at.
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

Mortal Kombat was a fad. Tekken was just in 3D. King of Fighters was underground.

Street Fighter was the originator!

mk came up with alot of new stuff tho
fatalities etc, blood realistic people.

I would say mk was as much of an influence on fighting games today as sf.

mk2 would be in my top 5 games

Soul Calibre wasn't good. Soul Calibre 2 on Dreamcast was good. It was excellent. I played it til I had blisters. Whats even better is that the DC version was even better than the Arcade! Both visually and the gameplay too. They sped it up a bit and it was more fluid.

I stand by what I say with Street Fighter though. Street Fighter II: World Warrior, Championship Edition, Hyper Fighting, The New Challengers and Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers were all damn good, then when the Alpha series came out, it was just awesome. Whats funny is that the EX series sucked! 2D fighters for life!
