Super chargers are somethning that I know a bit about, but would like to know more, so forgive my lack of knowledge :)
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

Yep, i would be a shocking mod. So what

You were given a list of toyota engines, to decide which you think was the 'best'. Instead you say these are crap, crap, crap.\
there is a thin line between having an opinion and having a rant.

Theres nothing wrong with toyota engines, get your head out of your a hole. If your gonna gripe about toyotas wank motors, at least go do it at nzhondas, least one person will agree. This is TOYspeed you $&#$%.

1UZ-FE. If they're using them with two f*ck-off big turbos in F40 remakes, theres got to be something going on... i dont know many common engines you can get 600-800HP out of with barely $5k worth of extras...

Would you be able to point out as to what exactly you will need to buy with barely 5K to be able to get between 6-800hp out of a 1UZ?

Not off hand, but if you sign up at ALSC or the Brit Lexus forums they'll tell you, because thats what they're spending... couple of turbos i believe, but i'm no mechanic :)

That would be 5000 pounds then? $5000 wont get you to a reliable turbo setup on a V8

Give Andy Murray a ring at Murrays Mufflers in Blenheim and ask him about his twin turbo 1uz in his mk3 supra. The only thing unreliable is the fact it shits supra boxes.....

That's what I was thinking. 5K in New Zealand spent on a 1UZ will get you nowhere near the 600hp mark...

i dunno,if you did all the labour yourself or got it done for free you might get up there. Maybe not quite 600hp but 400-500.

quest4 has spent only 10k on that corona and its in the 9s

thats inc the cost of the car and the engines etc....

Yea but all of their labour is free and they get materials etc for next to nothing since they supply it or get it at trade from all of their suppliers.....
