Unfortunately any form of motorsport has to be noiseless or so far away so that moaners can't hear/see it. Otherwise moaners will always win and there will be no more tracks/races.
That spot in wingate looks cool, but is far too close to residential areas.
I can't think of anywhere in wellington suitable for a track... people moan about the potential noise from windmills, so what would their reaction be to 300KW of tyre burner?
