Come on guys, I asked for your opinion on the band, not for your educated guess about what sort of person I am. :(

I didnt just jump on the band wagon to like them ( no pun intended ) like I said, I only know of a very people people who like them. I guess I like them due to the chain of events that happened around my teen years :)
ie: This is what I was listening too, so it just has meaning to me.
Sure I agree with you, that they come across as being gay, metros, and it probably is just another band which will die off with the ages, but I just happen to like them.

I dont like their music much, but I love the band for this reason...

The singer got $&#$% over by his girlfriend.

Does he drink himself silly, and smash some furniture? NO.

Instead, he makes millions of bucks, letting the whole world know what a bitch she is.

In my opinion, that is totally awesome.

I dont think the album was about the singers ex girlfriend, it was one of the other band members.

yea, a bit like simple plan, the whole album derived from this one thing, i mean, a bit of variety is good.

Otherthan that, i quite like em, wouldnt be my fav, but good for listening to once in a while.

Maroon 5, some of their songs are ok, i wouldnt buy their album, or even download it, but some of their stuff is alright.

Real music came from decades other than this one. Even 90's pop music was tolerable compared to today's mindless trash.

I first heard that shitty excuse for a song "this love" (pretty sure thats what its called anyway) while drunk in Hamilton on the town and honestly thought it was just another rugger bugger song that the outback (I was outside it NOT in it!) had dragged up to repeat a few times to get some drunk footy heads to sing along to. It sounded old before I knew it was new! I just hate their crap... doesn't help being a "techno" junkie I expect either.

Oh just the usual stuff, Britney, Jessica, Christina, Hillary, Mandy...... :D :D :D

J/K

Ummmmm........ As I Lay Dying, Trivium, The Black Dahlia Murder, Lamb Of God, Killswitch Engage, Unearth, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Bury your Dead, Arch Enemy, A Dozen Furies.........

I'd call them "hardcore" although there's so many different genres floating around these days, there's bound to be someone who disagrees with me.....
