I think a lot of people associate "Techno" with Electronica... I view Techno now as just a very broad word now..

Personally I'm a fan of Hard NRG (Mmmmmmmm) and a bit of Hard House.. definately don't like the progressive stuff!

And then theres D&B.. i'm not quite sure on what you would call it.. but the "Chillout Sessions" from MOS are really good to relax to :)

yeh me too, ive always used it as another word for electronica, but thats apparently VERY WRONG!

when i was about 15...sooo 10 years ago. one of my mates was hardout into the whole techno happy hardcore scene (got tinitis at a very young age from going to raves nonstop) so i got into a bit of that music, like the brain. ultrasonic!! "DO YOU LOVE YOUR HARDCORE!!!!!!"
dyewitness
early prodigy (experience album with wind it up, fire, charly etc)

was into metal at the time but a bit of techno was alright. could still listen to that brain vol 1 cd these days, bring back all those memories.

i like the sound of some trance but it is dance music, therefore repetitive and boring to listen to unless you're on some a-class. drum n bass "FTW"

I am a man of varied taste.

While I like my dance music, I also love Metallica. I have just about every album except St Anger (And rightly so.)

Even have the live gig they did before Kill 'Em All.

Even like a bit of the old skool hip hop, Q Tip and the likes :D

Yes, but no doubt if I didn't, someone else would. :P

Thats the way forums work. If you don't think ahead and counter someone's actions before hand, you're gonna get burnt ;)

Yep, I guess I am a ''techno'' fan.
