I dunno...

Who'd own a non turbo automatic skyline?

Oh yeah, prelude for the win. They can go alright-ish.

Even if it is a non-vtec i'd still back it to beat yours sorry Emp. I have driven one and they are pretty quick

At the end of the day why don't you both have a go at each other down the strip and prove it? This thread is no different to any other car comparison thread and if you were a newby you'd be getting flamed by everyone on TS :lol:

If your buying it as a daily driver thats fine.. :wink: But if you were after a fast-ish car i guess you would be looking in the wrong place...

Hmm.. The reason I bought the Skyline.
* 4 door
* rwd
* biggish engine
* daily driver

Yep, works for me.

So yeah, how 'bout them Preludes vs Skylines huh.

How bout them lame threads?

A non turbo auto skyline seems stupid to me. Id rather have a manual r32 turbo with some mods for less cash. But thats just me, I like girls. :lol:

Isn't that a bit like asking opinions on what 5 + 6 is?

It's asking what EACH individual thinks. Sure the answer might be obvious, but everyone has their own opinion and I wanted to hear it.

I have been beaten to the half track by a vtec 'lude in my 200SX, got him at the trap by a few tenths and higher trap speed but it had me scared.
My car sucks at drags but it would laugh at an auto na'na skyline and a lude ain't much slower then my car as previously stated, therefore you can assume that if you ever went to meremere (<-- thats where grown ups sort out their shit) you would get shown the way to the traps and be left eating his xsvtac

btw. your car isn't a drift car either

Why are you people getting all anal about this?
It may come as a surprise to some, but not every car on the road made for drifting or drag racing. Don't worry, that one got me too :o
