What sort of paint are you using Akane?

Something temp resistant I hope?

Did you degrease it etc before spraying it on?

It would be a pity to have that lovely purple coming off the first time you drove it with some anger.

Or blew something up. heh

P.S.

Thread redeemed with some actual (And blatantly self serving and attention whoring) 3S Bling. :P

Dupi colour, the bottle says it's temp resistant and can be applied to valve covers, and then 4 layers of clear coat.

I don't have a garage and painted it outside, the bugs / dust keeps getting attracted to the paint.

Yeah your engine's bling and stuff, but how many PSI of VTAX are you running tho?

You really need to make sure that the surface is super clean, and free of any grease/oil/etc before you spray it on. Otherwise it will more than likely be coming back off.

Exactly, I'm overcompensating for my lack of actual power.

errrrrrrrrr, sif change what I have just coz what 1/2 of toyspeed thinks.

If I "go with the trend" on toyspeed, I probably either own a rusted out KE corolla with Advanti rims or a 20v and thinks it'll kill VTAX Hondas.

1st to use GT28RS on 3S-GTE on MR2OC + toyspeed
most power produced on GT28RS on 3S-GTE on MR2OC + Toyspeed
1st on toyspeed to do a TMIC
1st on toyspeed, if not NZ, to have Illuminious dash

I'm just so unoriginal, so unoriginal that there are 3 copies of my plate NO GRIP.

God I need to be more original.

I had one back in 2001 or so, which deemed unreliable.

There are others who've seen the whole setup, spanky69r from nzhondas has seen the actual setup.

Sounds pretty much like yourself. There's only a handful of people on Toyspeed who can give crap about my setup or the things I do, and unfortunately you're not one of them.

Sergei: it's really bad quality welding and design that I had, I went cheap and it was just ripping the i/c off it's mounts due to engine rocking back and forward. Then I totally scrap the whole thing and went sidemount, which gave my bootspace back for my golf clubs. Bad planning and design on my part.

Great, someone remembers :D It was "back in the days"

Temps are not bad as long as I don't sit in the traffic, because the probe is right ontop of the cam covers, it gets heated up when no air is moving. Other than that, it's alright, even on the track.

Believe it or not, I was going to do Ivory white, but then again i was thinking "Hmmm, it's gonna be very hard to clean when it gets dirty....."

I'd hit white :)
