KT100's do sound pretty sweet when they're ringing it out.
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

Reason its not there:

4 cylinder 0% [ 0 ]
6 cylinder 0% [ 0 ]
8 cylinder 0% [ 0 ]
10 cylinder 100% [ 34 ]
Rotary 0% [ 0 ]

would be a boring poll.

If I had won $20million dollars a few weeks ago, the streets and tracks of NZ would have to put up with a black Gallardo with the plate [LITH] making boosty noises at every given opportunity.

But seriously, I can totally see the attraction and before Gallardos existed I'd probably have been the same but since Underground Racing started doing what they do, I now know whats missing in my life.

a 1UZ-FE in a 1991 Soarer with completley factory exhaust after 275,000km and you go to pass a car at full throttle and all of a sudden the fibreglass baffling in both ofthe mufflers disentegrates completley and exits the mufflers completley - at about 3500rpm

that is the best sound ive ever heard

then you go through parking structures and set off all the car alarms just ticking over at 900rpm trying to find a park

Good times :D

Especially if you are crossing the track in a corrugated iron tunnel with no ear plugs....

But we all know that when you go to the F1, you pack plugs...right?? hehe

Where's the 1 cycl 2-stroke option!?! :o

I'm a V6 man. Personally I'm not a big fan of the sound of V8's, Rotary's even less and 4cycl Subary boxer engines the least.

Talking engines - after taking apart and rebuilding my 25 year old Briggs & Stratton 3.5hp lawnmower engine - I reckon it's got to be one of the best designed motors every made. So simple even I can work on it.

Oh and +1 for a V10. Straight 6's are awesome too (but don't sound quite as cool).

Still missing the most horny of all engines.. v-twin , particulary of the italian desmo variety.

seriously, if a Duke or TL at WOT with a decent exhaust doesnt give you wood its time to swap your man-card for a pedicure discount voucher.
