and you speak on behalf of the majority? have you asked them?

ummm just what exactly does people wanting to take part in bathurst got to do with the current argument of holdens being better than fords, or the other way around

polls like this are stupid anyway, its like arguing that being a catholic is better than being a baptist, its just insane i rekon

pffft! maybe back in the good ol days, when the European and Jap contingent dominated the V8 shitters.

too bad the meat-head v8 guys couldnt handle it and subsequently banned everything else.

If you can't beat em, ban em! 8O

Hmmmm.... its claiming that they Holden engines are American (fair enough) and they the Ford engines are Australian. Aren't then imported from Canada? (The XR6T I'm thinking of)

Holden has always been a subsidary of the BIGGEST and BEST car company in the world the mighty General Motors. In NZ we have always sourced different product ie Opel , vauxhal , pontiac , Isuzu and badged it under its source manafacturer up untill 94 whan all vehicles became Holdens. GM also own Saab and have a fairly large slice of Subaru ! Tecnologically they are one of the leaders in the industry and in both Australia & NZ consistantly win the New car sales race. If your not a Big car fan remember gemini , opel Kadets & Calibras , Torana's new SRi Barina , Astra Sri & Turbo convertables are all Holdens!
 Commodore has been the number 1 selling car in NZ for 24 months and yes build quality in the USA is main reason for LS1 gen III V8 engine problems but all problems covered by warranty so no problemo !. And finally go the V8 Supercars Holden is N01

You can make all the arguments you want about which is the better car/who's got the fattest wallet/whos got the biggest dick etc..

At the end of the day it comes down to what you reckon will pull the chicks...

If you were wanting good looking, and probably rude girls you'd pick them up in yer holden.... possibly a torana of some sort......

If I was wanting a girl that knew enough about cars to share my opinion, I'd be in my cosworth escort (read: Boost)

If I was wanting a hoe... i'd rotor the torana, put Tickford T50 wheels on it and drive round the hutt...

hmm... rotary hoes? - I'm gonna get back on the fence before i get into trouble..

Holdens rock.

Fords are gay, although I will agree that they've finally put a decent engine (ABOUT BLOODY TIME LOSERS) Bathurst was getting boring from having no competition.

They're ugly anyway, and I do thing the headlights came from toyota

Ford all way

Postby export18 » Fri Jun 27, 2003 8:59 pm

come on guys, we all know that the BA fords are much faster, and much better looking, i mean turbo XR6, thats mean as.

And ford make their own engines, holden don't make their own engines, or gear boxes and they even use ford diffs.
