...and here I was thinking this whole issue was over King's quality...you could just count down the seconds until bad20v came...

...and fx gt, I never denied any of that, especially the sarcasm part...

 its ok bad20v
i know how things are! you get ppl like that.

theres also the fact that there s a very very good chance a 50mm drop on an ae111 will be illegal. they are quite low stock...

Shit where was i when all this was happening :D :D ..
As you say Rev "people haven't tried anything else spring's wise" it's most likely because King's have a well known reputation and are a well recognised brand hence why people buy them!!
I could careless what friggen spring's I have in my car as long as they (a) are friggen low and (b) decent ride hence why I usually buy Adjustable's.. I don't drive car's fast on the road so not to worried about handling most low car's at 100kph handle fine,, well for my liking..

In my humble attempt to provide uselfull King Sprng experience.
I had sport lows and new monroe shocks fitted to my ST162 when I very first got it and I was less than impressed. They were resonably firm but always ground out and didnt handle as good as an equivilant car with an unknown brand of lowered springs.
Superlow kings in an AE92 GTZ, they were fitted 10 years ago and have now sagged below the legal limit and are INCREDIBLY soft.
So from past experience with kings I wouldn't go there.
But in terms of 'dropping' the car they do a good job.
Where as TRD springs drop it very little over factory. But they do handle bumps mid corner very well.

Since I don't think GGnz doesn 't really care how it handles, as long as it looks low, Kings would have suited him fine....But didn't he decide to go with Dobi's anyway??

Also being one of the cheapest, and pushed most in "Springs + Wheels" combo's from the larger Mag outlets probably doesn't hurt

Im probably going with Dobis or B+G's like EVL20V suggested from Otago Tyres. Was going to get TRD Springs from Cooke Howilson Toyota for $340 (yes they are cheaper then you warwick :P) but decided I wanted it a little bit lower. Don't like what I've heard about Kings apparently they dont make Kings for a superstrut model according to Mag and Turbo. So probably Dobis from Otago tyres initially dropping it 40mm :D

Oh yeah and Warwick, lighten up man. Pervert done nothing to you initially. If you cant win an argument without name calling and running to your mummy you should bother with it.

You know a loser, when it's himself that has to declare his win, and not a third party...

If the arguement was over who has the biggest man-titties, then yes, you win Mr R.
