I'm sure I've seen a Mazda Bounty go down the 1/4 some time hahaha

There are a few GTXs and GTRs in NZ to have done 12s, there MAY have been a AWD GTX Sedan that nearly did (if not did) an 11?

The fastest "Dohca turbz" I can think of here is probably Quinn (or something like that?) Lee Sang's FWD BF. That did 11s.

a guy from pukekohe has a run a 12.3 in a mazda gtr with just fuel pump, injectors,exhaust/filter and intercooler running 20psi on stock ecu, turbo and afm

the jappas used to easily crack 11's with standard turbo

wow your cars rare, its not an extremely amazing car, which costs lots to fix

And im saying, chances are, that there would be a quicker st205, because there is more of them, meaning a higher chance that someone could make them extremely faster.

clown.

wow

if you go up a bit from my post some guy was claiming gtrs can run 9s, i was interested and was trying to get a answer out of one of you mazda people,

From what I've seen those Mazdas do go really well, although overall I'd have an ST205 over one as I prefer the styling, I may consider owning a Mazda GTR if someone could garantee the gearbox wouldnt explode in 2 minutes

I can gaurentee that. Standard gear box still going strong. Have never dropped the clutch, and dont intend to either. Interesting to see what times the GTR(s) will do at the nats next year.

I almost bought a GTR before I found the GSR. Found a black one in a yard for 17k and when I offered 12K for it(back in 2000)the offer was accepted. When I asked to take it for a test drive the salesman said "no, as all the other people who drove it didn't buy it"

Plus after sitting in it, the interior was as dull as the one in my mums auto Familia...except it's 5 speed and the admittedly comfortable seats were leather trimmed.

Took my 12k round the corner and spent it the following week.

dammit bet me to it

Misha has at gtx on these forums, my biggest gripe is your sitting in a 4 door sedan with a turbo and 4wd thrown in....

sitting up right, dosnt seem to feel sporty at all... sure it goes alright, and its 4wd so bla bla..

celica is a sporty car, it just is... you sit lower to the ground in it, and feel the part, which is sorta the point isn't it?

id rather the celica :). for some reason they demand more respect (well not to you coons) but to your average joe blogs. in comparasion to a little hatchback with a bonnet vent...
