Owned
6 AW11's
1 SW20
and currently have a ZZW30 in the garage.

They are all totally different cars for different purposes
the AW are road hugging nutter screamer mobiles. All old and most are in need of new shocks/springs which gives the casual driver the impression that they are a bit soft... they arent.

The SW20 is a good looking, overweight, hairdresser car. Its a comfortable tourer, but not as good at cornering or as fun as the AW11.

The ZZW30 is a hark back to the AW. With a light weight, very rigid chassis it corners slightly better than the AW. Its got bugger all in way of creature comforts and its interior is cut to the bone (which I love) However the motor is a dissapointment. Its quick, but not a screamer like the 4age and it realy takes a bit of fun out of the car. And lets not even mention the paddle shifter gimmick.

Clearly the sw20 is the winner, bang for buck is where its at.

The designer of the aw11 only had a ruler and pencil when they drew it. At least Toyota tried to copy a good looking car when they made the sw20.

Its not how you win the race, but how good your car looks doing it.

AW = Battlestar galactica prop with wheels

SW = Roundy shaped girly thing, but faster, so gets my vote. Plus a 3S sounds 10X better than a poxy wee 4AGE.

I own one and I still think its a girly thing - hell, most toyotas are

Notice how all the AW11 owners are resorting to insults. as the car doesnt actually have any superior features to brag about? ;)
1988 KE70 Wagon - Slowly rusting
1990 NA6 MX-5 - because reasons
2018 Ranger - Because workcar
1997 FD3S RX-7 Type R - all brap, all the time
OMG so shiny!

Im never going to live that one down.

And how much do AW11's actually weigh?

I mean my SW is about 1050kgs or so, what are AW's? 950kgs or something? Hardly a huge difference, and I'd hardly call SW20s lardy.
Well, some of them were I suppose....

P.S. you cant tell me that this isnt a sweet lookin' ZZW.

If only they came with the 2zz.

I don't actually rate the sound of the 3s. Its sounds better than the fart in a goldfish bowl evo and the tractor like sr20det, but its still a 2.0litre turbo :?
