Armstrong has made a few appearances and given talks at various events over the years, most recently the 40th aniversary celebrations in the last couple of days. Don't blame him for wanting some privacy, when you are one of the most recognised people on earth.

the only thing harder than going to the moon would be to try and fake it.

i read people saying "ohh well y havnt they gone back there"
i am pretty sure they have been back there.
this is a quote from the nasa website

Six of the missions -- Apollos 11, 12, 14, 15, 16 and 17 -- went on to land on the moon

i have the documentry(mocumentry) "a funny thing happned on the way to the moon"

it realy dose make you doubt the authuntisity of the moon landing, only through misinformation and false claims tho.

the mythbusters moon landing episode pretty much shatterd any reason for dought that remained in my mind.

ok

fangsport, mag1nt and xylotrope. and all the others who voted no

there has been MASSES of evidence to prove they went to the moon.
it would be the best kept secret EVER if it was faked.... no one has spoken up.....

please present proof, or evidence to support your point of view.

and please, make it good. not "i heard a hiss when the transmission ended" or xylotropes hysterical paranoid delusions etc.
I want proof.
not misunderstood science (oh the flags waving! how can that happen?!) etc but proof.

As for the involvement of "mythbusters", they only chose certain items to be finely scrutinised, all sponsored by NASA too (well hollywood and NASA have a close working relationship).
So the results don't mean anything. What they DIDN'T approach was the fact that some photos from one part of the moon looked identical to photos from another part of the moon, no doubt because they were studio shots. So you were all conned.
As to whether or not people actually landed on the moon, that's pretty irrelevent. It's still a hoax.
Can you believe ALL of the evidence 100%?

At the end of the fantastic documentary film 'In the shadow of the moon', one of the Apollo astronauts Charles Duke said "We've been to the Moon nine times. Why would we fake it nine times?"
Still one of the best films I have seen

Spoken like a true conspiracy believer, won't believe any proof because you don't want to believe. Perhaps you should start a new religion, seems you have a lot in common with religion.
What they DIDN'T approach was the fact that some photos from one part of the moon looked identical to photos from another part of the moon, no doubt because they were studio shots.

Proof please, links to the photos in question would be appropriate if you're going to make such claims.
As to whether or not people actually landed on the moon, that's pretty irrelevent.

(adj) irrelevant (having no bearing on or connection with the subject at issue), seems you might need to consult a dictionary before posting as that's the whole point of the debate
Can you believe ALL of the evidence 100%?

All that I have seen, yes. On the other hand I have seen 0% of the hoax theory "evidence" that even stands up to even mild scrutiny, hence the need for religious zealotry in order to believe.

ok hows this. conspiricy theoryists have picked all these little arguments about bits of evedence, and conclude if 1 bit of evidence is fake the whole mission must have been fake.

now y dosnt this work the other way round??

as stated by MAGN1T mythbusters didnt look at every claim by the conspiricy theoryists, but they did shater a lot of there theorys.

so if i think the same way as the people that doubt, i would say well a few of the conspiricy claims have been busted , so the whole conspiricy must b the hoax

lol.
I don't think that they landed on the moon. If, in fact, they did, the evidence isn't solid enough for me.
That's all!

The evidence isn't solid enough for you? What would you consider to be solid evidence out of interest? What would convince you?

I find it interesting that you believe an infinitesimally small amount of 'counter evidence' (which has been debunked anyway) over a massive amount of actual evidence.

There's lots of conspiracy nutters out there with their websites and books and tin foil hats but I've never seen them present any real evidence using any kind of scientific methodology to prove or even cast some reasonable doubt over it. I think it's everyone's right to doubt anything they like but claiming something didn't happen just because you think it didn't rather than you can prove it didn't or even provide some decent evidence that it didn't happen makes you an idiot.

For all those ignorant people who voted NO.
Think of the Russians, and how deep their spies were in USA govt. to steal plans for nuclear bomb, to miss such scam?
The single reason why the landing was real - because there was a race to get to the moon, between Russia and USA, especially at that time where Nikita was jumping up and down (read about Cuban crisis), Russians were watching every single step, conversation, progress, and certainly they would figure out that there was no landing if it was otherwise.
They also had spies and sympathisers every where, and huge secret like that should of been gotten out.
Think amount of people involved, some one would of spoken out, USA was not Stalinist Russia where tens of thousand people could disappear.

If you believe there was no landing, even if there is so much evidence, well, I guess you might as well believe that the earth is 6000yo, and Jesus walked with dinosaurs.
